Minister Rana urges EU officials to assist lifting air safety restrictionThe Tenzing Hillary Airport in Lukla saw a record number of flights taking place on Thursday.
According to Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal in Lukla, there were 184 flights by helicopters and aircrafts at the airport
Of them, 152 flights were made by helicopters and 23 by aircraft of different airlines. According to Umesh Panthi, head of the office, the weather improved leading to a significant number of flights to the gateway of Mt Everest.
