Ambulance Flight Arrival on 8th May and Departure on 9th May

Compassion and precision came together once again as Nepal Aviation proudly handled a chartered ambulance flight at Tribhuvan International Airport (VNKT), Kathmandu. This special operation was more than just an aviation milestone — it was a mission of care, connecting a critically injured traveler with the medical support she needed back home.

A Mission of Urgency and Teamwork

The aircraft, with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) of 21,863 KGS, arrived in Kathmandu for a critical medical case requiring immediate assistance. Our team was on standby well in advance, ensuring that all operations were flawlessly coordinated to support the patient’s quick transfer and continued care.

Nepal Aviation’s operations division secured SLOTS and landing permits swiftly, clearing the way for the medical flight’s timely arrival. Meanwhile, our Ground Handling Services team ensured that all support systems were in place for ambulance teams on arrival.

To support the onward journey, refueling services were handled promptly and safely, minimizing downtime and ensuring the flight was ready the next day, for departure without delay.
